Skanska joins DTCC

The DTCC board of directors has decided to welcome Skanska as the newest center partner.

For some time, Skanska has been involved in many activities connected to DTCC and there is a strong mutual interest in collaborating within the areas of digital construction and circularity. This collaboration has now been official and is expected to deepen the collaboration further.

As one of the major contractors, Skanska will contribute to the development of digital construction and the use of digital twins. Concrete activities will include the realization of the Total BIM concept to reach paperless construction processes and the use of “virtual takt production planning” to coordinate and involve the site-specific range of crafts and knowledges.
